We collect the following categories of data:

• User account: email address and name (or username) when creating an account.
• Location: geographic position, precise or approximate, to sort businesses by distance. Refusing location does not prevent you from using the application: a manual city selection is offered.
• Detected country: country identified to display prices in the correct currency and the offers available in your region.
• Loyalty: favorites, loyalty cards, accumulated points and visit history at your merchants.
• Usage data: technical information used to improve the operation and performance of the application.
• Merchants: establishment information, published promotions, wallet balance and transaction history.

• Creation and management of user and merchant accounts.
• Display of geolocated promotions and businesses, sorted by distance.
• Operation of the loyalty program (points, rewards, history).
• Processing of merchant payments and wallet management.
• Sending transactional emails (confirmation, security, support).
• Continuous improvement of the application and its performance.

Your data is shared with third parties only in the following cases: partner establishments, when using a promotion, and solely to validate it; and our subcontractors, listed below, for the purposes described. We do not sell any data.

Your data is processed by the following providers, each for a specific function:

• Base44: application hosting and database.
• Stripe, PayTabs and PayZone: merchant payment processing.
• Resend: transactional email sending.
• ipapi and api.country.is: country detection.
• Nominatim / OpenStreetMap: address geocoding.
• api.qrserver.com: validation QR code generation.

We do not sell any data. No targeted advertising is displayed.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against any unauthorized access, loss or disclosure.

Your data is kept for the duration of your account use, then deleted at your request or when it is no longer necessary for the purposes described.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access to your data.
• Right to rectification.
• Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
• Right to object to processing.
• Right to data portability.
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Account deletion can be done directly from the Profile tab of the application, or by request sent to contact@akaltapp.com.

The service is not intended for persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

The application is available in 7 countries: Morocco (MA), France (FR), Belgium (BE), United Kingdom (GB), United States (US), United Arab Emirates (AE) and Saudi Arabia (SA).

The data controller, Ihsane Capital LLC, is established in the United States. Accordingly, the personal data of European users is transferred outside the European Union to the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which ensure an appropriate level of data protection.

We do not use any advertising cookies. Your browser’s local storage is used only to remember your preferences: language, theme (light/dark) and selected country.
